DLP VS LCD

Post by DEANMASXX »

Richard talks about cleaning filters on a LCD RPTV. Can anyone tell me how to clean the filter or fliters on a Panasonic 61" LCD RPTV (PTL61LCX65), or at least point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Dean

DLP VS LCD

Richard,
The only thing that the manual shows is how to change the bulb. In fact this set can't even be calibrated!

I'm in Denver and my computer access is very limited without a lengthy explanation... Will try to look this up for you when I return to Atlanta. Hopefully somebody else can chime in with an answer in the meantime.

That said, just because it has one does not mean it can be easily changed or that it is a consumer replaceable item but that has not been a Panasonic issue as I recall.

FILTER FOR PT-61LCX65

Post by DEANMASXX »

Richard,
First of all, thank you for your help. You couldn't find my set because I gave the incorrect model #. It's PT-61LCX65. I contacted the Panasonic web site and this is what they replied:
