HDMI v1.3
Since HDMI version 1.3 is starting to show up on more top end recievers these days I was wondering if anybody has one and if they have seen the difference between v1.3 and the old standard v1.1 Its supposed to allow for more A/V transmission thru the line at a faster rate thus a better picture and better sound.

So nothing's changed?
It's July now, and there's still no HDMI 1.3 TV'S Out there? I'm looking to buy a samsung in the fall and I want HDMI 1.3 and 1080P, but I can't tell from websites what has what, and if the version of HDMI is the latest or not. Anyone know where to find more information on this?
Making a big purchase like a TV, I want it to have all the goodies, so that down the road, I can have everything I need (given, that might be years, but I plan on having the TV atleast 5 years, if not more!)
Thanks in advance...

Thanks but...
That really wasn't what I asked...I don't care about content, it's always last to arrive, and it's the cheapest part of an entire system. What I asked was if there's any information about what sets are HDMI 1.3???

A HDMI 1.3 designation does not guarantee all features
Just because a TV or component has HDMI 1.3 doesn't mean it supports any or all of the features. I thought I saw SONY XBR claiming xvYCC Color Standard. I would call the manufacturer as the specs online are vague in this area.
Ask about:
1.Deep Color
2.Color Standard xvYCC
3.Lip Sync
4.True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio
Seems like every manufacturer has their own name for these features. HDTV mag has a series of articles on HDMI that is very helpful.

Samsung @ Cructchfield
That's awesome, thanks. It's no wonder so many people are confused, I'd consider myself more informed than most, and it's still confusing.
