Mitsubishi DLP RP WD73827 - cable card kills DVR

Thanks for all the responses and great feedback. Mitusbishi today also told me the next expected light engine delivery date is 12/18/2007.
But...

Since we have a great dialog going here does anyone else have problems with thier CableCard or DVR. My WD73827 Cablecard goes in and out constantly. Mitsubishi Consumer says it is fairly common and to unplug the tv for at lest 30 seconds between uses to reset the internal modem and of course points the finger at the cable tv provider(Cablevision).

This is more an annoyance than a major issue since I can just switch to the cablebox, but the tuner is not as good as the Mitsubishi tuner and the picture quality difference is noticable. The bigger issue is that when the Cablecard does not work the DVR does not work. Anyone figure out any solutions or work arounds for this issue?
Thanks and we will all keep our fingers crossed for a present from Santa!!!

About all you can do on your end is check Mits for a firmware upgrade. Don't expect that to be the solution...
It should be noted that some manufacturers decided to not provide the cable card feature for 2007 in part or all of their line due to the problems. Some have decided it is not worth the hassle.
