Hello to everyone, this is my first post, and need some help from anyone on this new tv. I just bought this unit about 3 weeks ago, and had Direct TVs HD reciever hooked up to the #1 HDMI input on the set, and everything has been great. So now, I have added all of my new theater set up, and when I shut the set off for the night, next morning, I turn on the TV and it goes directly to a antenna input. Does not recognise the HDMI. If I move to #2 HDMI it works great until the next morning. Well after using all 3 rear HDMI inputs and 3 days later I had no signal. I reset the TV which took it awhile. I could use, and the TV now recognises the HDMI inputs again. Mitsubishi says they are going to send me a software update on a flash memeory that I need to update the software on my TV and That will fix the problem> Now I may be getting worried over something small, but has anyone had this problem and if this update fixed the problem?
I have all my components plugged into a Sony ES5300 receiver, and from the Sony receiver Ihave a M1000 Monster HDMI into the TV. I wont get the update until the 21st of april. They told me just to run other type input cables until I update the software. I can deal with that I guess, but wondering if anyone has run across this problem.
Thanks...

Mitsubishi 73833 HDMI problem
Hi Goat - I have just experienced this same problem. I just got the Pioneer SC-09 tx receiver and hooked it up - and now my Mitsubishi 73833 cannot remember the HDMI input from this receiver. Did you get the flash update? Did it work?
Kind regards,
hett
