Hey there everyone,
I own a 2007 Mitsubishi 53'' WD-52531 television. I was told that the (lamp) is good, but the TV still looks dark to me. How is this TV suppose to look? I've never owned a TV of this size so, Im clueless at this point. It looks darker in areas that already have shadow's or dark area's at you watch. Is there anyway to make it a brighter? I've already adjusted the brightness and all that, but I'm not getting the picture I would like. Can someone help me out?
Thank you.

Brightness, which is really black level, is about all you could adjust for what you think is a problem. I am not sure what is going on but either there is a problem with the product or your expectations are not realistic.
One major point is your lamp. If you never replaced the lamp that could be your whole problem. Lamps wear down and as they age the brightness and color changes.
Best place to get your lamp cartridge is http://www.mitsubishi-tv.com/support.html
