What are my options? Need more special cables?

I don't think it's available for PS2 - not sure about Xbox.

I have an xbox and I am using an optical cable. Here is a link for the hook up for the xbox. PS2 I am not sure since I do not play that anymore but I think you can get an optical cable for it also.

Just found this on the sony site for PS2. Not as good as xbox info but does mention about optical cable for PS2.

I stand corrected. Apparently the PS2 does have a digital audio out.
