I have an old e86 Hughes direct tv receiver.....I no longer subscribe to direct tv. Is it possible to use this receiver to pick up over the air digital--(not Hd) signals and use the outputs in SD on my analog tv. ?

But the OTA digital signals are HD, so you can't really get digital without HD. You can use the SD outputs though if that's what you're asking. I think you can use the tuner without a subscription but you won't get any channel listings.
