Someone used a cleaning solution on my Sanyo 55" HDTV (PLV-55WHD1) screen. It appears to have damaged the screen in a way that the HD picture isn't as sharp and crisp as it use to be.
Is there anything I can do to reverse this damage? Buy a screen filter or something that will fit over the screen? Any repair type solution that can be applied to the screen?
Any help will be much appreciated.

About the only thing I can think of is fluid dripping to the bottom and then getting sucked in between the two screens due to capillary action. Yes, there are two, a fresnel and outer and the outer is the one you see and clean.
The only solution is to take them out and clean them or replace them.

I have never seen a Sanyo LCD RP... Is the outer screen shiny or frosted/anti-glare looking? It sounds shiny like a screen protector with an anti-glare optical coating and that is easily destroyed using chemical based cleaners... The good news if that is what you have then may be able to change out just the protector!!!

It's a frosted anti glare type protector. It seems to have wiped away when the cleaning solution was used. Here is a link to the HDTV I have: http://www.sanyodigital.com/hdtv/PLV-55WHD1/index.html
