Help for Lamp Replacement

I have Sony XL 2100U.I need to replace the Lamp for my TV. I already have replaced 2 Lamps but they gone out after 1200 hrs and need help in making decision to buy a Lamp having guaranteed life at affordable price. so that I could enjoy TV on coming home after doing 8 hrs hectic job. Please help me in getting rid of this problem .

As to why you are getting 1200 hours there can be a myriad of reasons...

Nobody guarantees lamp life due to all the variables involved. I do recommend you buy OEM, a Sony lamp.

I recently had to replace the bulb in my Sony VPL-VW100. It cost a little less than a kilobuck. The projector was refurbished so I didn't know how long to expect the lamp to last, but I am watching the new one like a hawk!

This is a good argument for noting lamp replacement cost in reviews of projectors.

Then again, perhaps if you have to ask, you can't afford it!!!
