TV shutting itself off - try directly in the wall first!

I have a Mits WS-55859 I purchased in 2002 that was shutting itself off also and no one could figure it out. Just as a last resort I stopped plugging it into my Monster power protector and have not had it shut down in well over a year. I emailed Mits a number of time and never got a response.

That's odd... did you try plugging it back in the strip? Could have been that one outlet on the strip?
