INDUSTRY NOTES:


Along with its production arm White Mountain Entertainment, Inc., The Television Syndication Company, Inc. (TVS) is moving ahead at full speed with the production of a wide variety of new HDTV television series that are being distributed to television, inflight, video/DVD and educational outlets worldwide.

The initial episode in the "High Definition Travel" series has been completed and production of an additional 12 half-hour episodes is scheduled for the remainder of 2001 and the first two quarters of 2002. This series takes a fresh look at the world's most interesting locations.

A reality series titled "The City Walker" is being coproduced by White Mountain and Japan's TV Asahi. Eight of 26 programs taped in London, New York City and Tokyo are already completed and the entire series will be finished by September of this year. TV Asahi is producing the series that will be broadcast in Japan, while White Mountain Entertainment is creating the series that will be seen in all other countries of the world.

Just completed and scheduled for weekly broadcasts on public broadcasting stations across America beginning in October  is "The Mickey Finn Show", a high-energy musical series featuring the Mickey Finn Show Band and guest artists from throughout the world. 

There are no less than seven additional series currently in development for production and distribution in 2001 and 2002.
