"Demand Visual Excellence 2001" Wins Astrolabium at IECF

Texas Instruments and HD VISION, Inc. were awarded the Astrolabium for first place in the Educational and Industrial division of this year's International Electronic Cinema Festival in Chiba Japan.

Director/Producer Randall P. Dark used Sony HDCamcorders to image the makeup artistry of Joanne Gair as she created the new TI print campaign. Tim Werner edited the program at HD Vision under the supervision of TI's Carolyn Scott.

This HD program was designed to showcase T.I.'s DLP Technology and its

ability to handle vivid colors, rich tones and high contrasts.
