Elsewhere, Kim (Kim Raver) and the newly reformed Firefighter Doherty (Eddie Cibrian) agree to keep their rekindled romance under wraps while Officer Monroe (Nia Long) takes pity on a lonely young boy (guest star Jake Cherry) who witnessed his mother's attack.
