Jack (Tom Verica) goes to a conference and is not only surprised by Pete's (guest star Matthew Armstrong) arrival, but also by Pete's conduct with the women. Meanwhile, mayhem breaks out at home as Meg (Brittany Snow) continues to push the envelop with dating Drew (guest star Sam Page). Then Patty (Sarah Ramos) discovers a secret about Helen (Gail O'Grady) and shares it with Meg, who exposes it during an argument with her mother after she she's caught breaking curfew. Things heat up when Roxanne (Vanessa Lengies) realizes she has feelings for Luke (guest star Jamie Elman), and Henry (Jonathan Adams) accepts money from the Muslims to open his own repair store. Macy Gray ("When I See You") guest stars as R&B legend Carla Thomas singing, "B.A.B.Y." Rich Vos also guest stars as Lenny Bruce performing standup at the Lair. The posse of suspects includes his artistic and ambitious widow and Harvey, a nebbish charity fundraiser with shady mob connections. The detectives hope to discover how the celebrity-loving Harvey gained his seed money to attract New York's high society as well as his connection to the widow -- but the key may lie with his bitter and resentful
mother. Jamey Sheridan and Courtney B. Vance also star.

However, the investigation turns even more byzantine when a disgraced Goren discovers a former cunning adversary (guest star Olivia d'Abo, "The Wonder Years") might be involved in those deaths and more. Jamey Sheridan and Courtney B. Vance also star.
