HDTV Has Social Calling — NBA All-Star Game, VOOM HDNews Launch, and HD Programming Guide

Program Alert

Both DirecTV and EchoStar's DISH Network will offer this weekend's NBA All-Star Game and related events in high-def. Included in the HD mix are Saturday's "Three-Point Shootout" and "Rising Stars Slam Dunk," as well as Sunday's All-Star Game on TNT. The high-def feeds can be found on DISH Network HD Event Channel 9466 and DirecTV channel 85.

VOOM Adds HD News - VOOM, the DBS service from Cablevision and Rainbow DBS, took the wraps off a 24/7 national high-def news channel, HDNews.
