Both DirecTV and EchoStar's DISH Network will offer this weekend's NBA All-Star Game and related events in high-def. In The Princess Diaries, a klutzy, geeky 15-year-old girl, Mia Thermopolis (Hathaway), who lives with her eclectic artist, single mother (Caroline Goodall) in San Francisco, is visited for the very first time by her grandmother (Andrews) and discovers she's really klutzy, geeky royalty — the princess of Genovia. Due to her father's sudden death — she had never seen him and didn't know he was the crown prince of Genovia — she becomes the direct heir to the thrown. After an extreme makeover, Mia begins "princess lessons" to see if she has what it takes. Mia's life is turned upside down as she tries to learn who are her real friends and family.
