When the wallet is graciously returned, Danny and Sam give the Good Samaritan a priceless reward. Elsewhere, there is a suspicious machine on the floor with an unusually high payout pattern, and it's up to the Montecito's security team to figure out if it's a defective machine or a strategically deceiving guest. Meanwhile, Ed's thoughts are preoccupied with jealousy and suspicion when he finds out that Jillian (Cheryl Ladd) has been hanging out with the artist playing at the Montecito, Marc McGrath (guest stars as himself, Sugar Ray) and an overzealous agent pesters Mary (Nikki Cox) trying to get her talent-less client a gig at the Montecito.
