Adding to Mavis' woes is the woman's granddaughter (guest star Krysten Ritter), who takes over the unit and turns it into a 24/7 rave party. Omid Djalili, Wren T. Brown and Elizabeth Regen also star.

"The Play"
When Tim (Tyler Francavilla) asks Sara (Melanie Paxson) for a letter of recommendation to work at the local hardware store, he ends up getting a less than glowing referral. Sara's honesty about Tim's lack of commitment and focus is confirmed when he gets fired for those same reasons. However, Tim hides his firing and furiously tries to prove Sara wrong by pretending to work at the store, proving that he is commited -- to lying. Meanwhile, as Annie's (Christine Baranski) budding community-theater career takes off, jealousy consumes Peter (John Larroquette) when he meets her handsome co-star, Roger (James Patrick Stuart, "Gods and Generals"). After Peter threatens Roger, Annie takes Peter to couples therapy. What he ends up learning is nothing short of the expected. Jeff B. Davis and Jaime Pressly also star.

"Match Game"

Frasier (Kelsey Grammer) hires a professional matchmaker (guest star Laura Linney, "Mystic River," "Love Actually") to liven up his lackluster love life, but he demands a refund when he ends up on a string of bad dates (guest star Rachel Dratch, "Saturday Night Live"). Elsewhere, Niles (David Hyde Pierce) and Daphne (Jane Leeves) hire a professional doula (guest star Ann Magnuson, "Wanda At Large," "Panic Room") to coach them through the birth of their first child. John Mahoney and Peri Gilpin also star.

"Sick"
When Detectives Stabler (Christopher Meloni) and Benson (Mariska Hargitay) detain a disturbed 12-year-old boy with a recent history of violence after he posted a gruesome plan to hurt his younger sister in an Internet chat room, they discover the child was sexually abused. Searching for the victim's abuser, the detectives follow a trail of money back to a wealthy toy mogul known for his generous donations to children's charities and his hospitality for younger houseguests. Cindy Williams ("Laverne & Shirley") guest stars in the episode as a distraught grandmother who believes her terminally ill granddaughter might be one of the wealthy suspect's victims. Dann Florek, Richard Belzer, Ice-T and Diane Neal also star.

Luke tries to talk to Jess about Liz's (guest star Kathleeen Whilhoite) new boyfriend T.J. (guest star Michael Deluise), but Jess angrily tells Luke to stop interfering in everyone's life. When Lorelai (Lauren Graham) does Emily (Kelly Bishop) a favor by attending a charity dinner, she is pleasantly surprised when Jason (Chris Eigeman) also shows up and Emily asks them to pretend they are a couple.
