The Wonderful World of Disney: Remember the Titans

Remember the Titans tells the story of highly successful black football coach Herman Boone (Washington), thrust into a racially charged head coaching position at a previously segregated high school. Boone discovers he is replacing the school's award-winning white coach (Will Patton), a reverse of the circumstances that caused him to leave his last post. Both men must put aside their pride in order to meld a team divided by race. After the coaches and players make progress during their summer training camp, they return home and to the school to face communities at odds and entrenched in old behaviors.

This event had some HDTV coverage last year

Our attempts to get confirmation from NBC that it would be again this year failed to get a response.

It is not advertised on their web site nor found in a search from their web site. Several forums say yes and no. Some

on-air promos are said to have had the HDTV symbol included.
