The Days
"Day #1,412"
Each episode of The Days chronicles a 24-hour period. In the pilot,
it's "Day #1,142" in 15-year-old Cooper Day's (Evan Peters) online
journal, the one he's keeping to count the days until his "liberation"
- graduation from high school in his hometown of Philadelphia. Cooper
thinks his family is "spinning too fast in too many directions," and
he's right. Dad Jack (David Newsom) is an attorney practicing law for
a pharmaceutical giant who hates his job. Mom Abby (Marguerite
MacIntyre) has just reentered the work force as the star creative
director of a big ad agency. Seventeen-year-old sister Natalie (Laura
Ramsey) is a super kid who's a soccer champ, a straight "A" student
and girlfriend to the school's football star. And little brother
Nathan (Zach Maurer) is an eight-year-old child genius who suffers
from crippling anxiety attacks. On "Day #1,142," the lives of all five
members of this dysfunctional Philadelphia clan change forever. Jack,
fed up, abruptly quits his job, unaware that events at home are about
to render this decision ill-timed. Meanwhile Nathan has the panic
attack to end all panic attacks in the midst of an important school
test, and Cooper decides its payback time for Natalie's insensitive
boyfriend, Lane Dugan (Warren Christie).

Beatles, the Beach Boys, the Rolling Stones and Elvis Presley
combined. A treasure trove of the era's best sounds.
