innocent civilians during a mission in a Latin American village. Jim
Caviezel plays the accused man whose charges may be part of a
military cover-up...or something far more treacherous. It's up to

A Mighty Wind
PG13 Time: 91

of '60s folk music acts in this hilarious ensemble film. Guest
reunites with his This Is Spinal Tap cohorts Harry Shearer and
Michael McKean to portray the Folksmen, one of three folk groups
reuniting for a public television reunion concert. Joining them are
the annoyingly upbeat New Main Street Singers led by Terry and
Laurie Bohner (who follow a religion that worships colors), and
Mitch & Mickey (Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara), a duet whose
longtime romance ended in a public breakup that left Mitch
institutionalized--and definitely questionable to appear onstage
with Mickey. With Bob Balaban, Ed Begley Jr., Parker Posey and Fred
Willard in a priceless role.

Road To Perdition

"Sons are put on the Earth to trouble their fathers," growls Paul
Newman as mob boss John Rooney. Set in 1931 Illinois, this
compelling period gangster film from Oscar(R)-winning director Sam
Mendes (American Beauty) focuses on the various father-son
relationships that collapse amidst the violence of mob life. Tom
Hanks stars as Michael Sullivan, a coldly intelligent enforcer whose
father-figure boss Rooney is forced to order Sullivan's
death--thanks to the tragic actions of Rooney's own uncontrollable
son. With an assassin on his tail who likes to photograph corpses,
Sullivan takes his surviving son on the run...while formulating a
plan to avenge the brutal slayings of his wife and youngest boy.
Jennifer Jason Leigh and Stanley Tucci co-star in this adaptation of
the graphic novel by Max Allan Collins and Richard Piers Rayner.
Screenplay by David Self.

manipulates the amorous desires of both her beloved's stuffy
philosophy teacher (Ben Kingsley) and the tutor's dour scientist
sister (Fiona Shaw). "Literally dazzling...quelle treat!" - "The
