Knowing that acid was used on the victim's face further bolsters the Major Case squad's theory that the slaying was personal, and the key could be the pair's adult daughter (as Camilla, guest star TBA) who grew up as her parents' referee. Jamey Sheridan and Courtney B. Vance also star.

Meanwhile, Jordan (Jill Hennessy) is called to determine the cause of death of an unidentified man found on the Appalachian Trail. The discovery of a camera clasped in his decomposing hand offers photographic clues to the circumstances surrounding his demise and leads the investigation into the woods to the doorstep of a real-estate mogul (guest star John D'Aquino, "JAG"). Miguel Ferrer, Ravi Kapoor, and Jennifer Finnigan also star.
