Although Sally has sworn to never have sex with a Republican, she can't help but accept his invitation to what she hopes will be a very large car show. Elsewhere, Jane (Lindsay Price) is back in the saddle with a date (guest star Paul Satterfield) of her own, leaving him to fear she too might have gotten the wrong idea. Christopher Moynihan also stars.

Dr. Carter (Noah Wyle) returns to the Congo to search for the body of a fellow doctor and reunites with several associates but the chaos, stench and danger of the country's long civil war threaten to curtail his efforts -- and again put him in harm's way. Elsewhere in the strife-torn country, Dr. Kovac (Goran Visnjic) is seen in flashbacks as he battles debilitating malaria while he ministers to the sick and dying in a land where life is cheap at best.

On the eve of Homecoming, the annual tradition of pranks between the two competing high schools continues. However, when the Franklin house gets egged, Kurt (Joseph Lawrence) and Chris (Kyle Howard) decide to step in and take action. Meanwhile, when Sally (Sasha Barrese) has to spend her Friday night baking cupcakes for the Homecoming Commitee, she gets needed help from a fellow volunteer (guest star Justin Guarini).

Mo Gaffney also stars. Bob Berlinger directed the episode written by Mark Hentemann.
