A deadly carjacking leads to the discovery that the victim was transporting a vial of the highly contagious SARS virus, forcing Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Green (Jesse L. Tracing the virus back to a reporter who recently ended her four-year love affair to a well-respected virologist, leading the detectives to suspect the outbreak to be a crime of passion.
