New Single and Triple DC-Restore Amplifiers Support Latest Video and PC Standards

MILPITAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 29, 2001--Elantec Semiconductor, Inc. (Nasdaq:ELNT - news), a leader in high-performance analog ICs, today introduced the EL4120C and EL4320C high-bandwidth DC-restore amplifiers.

These new DC-restore amplifiers feature a 500MHz bandwidth, making them capable of processing the latest video and PC-video standards. The EL4320C is specifically designed to meet the demands of high-end component systems such as projectors, flat panel displays, and professional video equipment. It integrates the three channels necessary for use in component video systems such as high-performance PC and HDTV. The EL4120C is a single channel device and can be used to improve board layout in high-end systems. Both devices have a 2000V per microsecond slew-rate and operate from just 11mA of supply current per channel.
