Anyone else find this headline funny?

Since when is a 26" LCD considered "Big Screen"?

Miller,

"since when" is from the perspective of a computer monitor, sitting 2' in front of your face.

22" and 24" monitors are big... this is bigger yet.

I'm just talking about the headline Tim.

I realize that they are selling a "Desktop Monitor", but that's not what the headline implies.

I just found it funny.

As a desktop monitor , it is big . As being for a big screen for hd viewing , that is very funny . It fits in with scenario of beleiving the hd experience can be had with lcd monitor , hd tv tuner card in your speedy pc and 5.1 surround computer speakers. or that a 42 hd tv is not more about design considerations than video requirements needed for the actual hd experience.

It all sounds good, but it'll be showing 60 pixel high black bars (1200-1080 / 2)....oh dear.

1920x1200 is what I think you meant.

I really hate that about the PC world - why don't they just follow the 16:9 trend... We have a Samsung that's great for PC but the HD side sucks all because of the mismatch; they zoom HD content so you don't get the black bars and you can enjoy the loss of 1:1 pixel mapping and their nasty scaler instead.
