HDTV Expert - Hmmm…A New Blu-Ray Player. Why Not?

Yes the panasonicis is a nice player . Yet until there is native 1080p content with dts master sound avaiable as a download that is quick , reasonably priced and available in Canada , Blu - ray will remain the medium of choice for me. Personally as i understand it there is a level of content available in United States for download that is equaivilent to blu - ray in sound and picture quality. The 720p offerings from Apple , etc do not count . In Canada , the options for downloadable native 1080p content is none and through pay service - very slim.
