I just don't see even a small number of people going out and buying a HD receiver so they can get a digital version of a 4x3 picture OTA.
When I did a survey in Gwinnett by taking a DTV receiver to the customers home I had many interested except for price, the antenna and available content. It turns NTSC into at least DVD quality dramatically improving the sound especially with a surround sound system and most are aware of that difference and willing to pay some amount to get it. Just not $500.
But you can do it for $200. Walmart sells the USDTV tuner for $200
and your picture will look better than SD cable or satellite.
