Kate Forster leaves her wonderful lake house to be closer to her job in the city leaving a few special notes for the next tenant. Alex Wyler arrives receiving her note but finds some of her comments out of touch with reality leading to a mail box exchange that builds a relationship and also an unbelievable outcome; there is about a two year difference between their lives.
