New Combo Blu Ray & HD DVD Player from LG?

I would swear that I read an announcement the other day of a new, reasonably priced combination player coming on the market - maybe by LG? - but I can't find it anywhere. Am I getting senille, imagining things, losing my ability to Google or just plain didn't see it? Thanks.

This seems highly unlikely - HD DVD is DEAD. Besides, you can pick one up used for around $100, maybe even less. To add HD DVD capability would require licensing and support from the DVD Forum and even if that happened sales volume would be low creating a high priced combo most are going to ignore.

I would be shocked if they did - makes no fiscal sense for the current market...

BTW, inspect those announcements... I see plenty recycling of old info on the internet.
