I was considering on purchasing olevia747i any information would be greatly appreciated. I`ve read plenty of positive reviews.

For performance viewing it lacks WCG-CCF back lighting... it is a casual viewing display.

No, your unfortunate experiences will not be all the same.

These Second, Third Tier ( and even lower ) outlets are
' skimming ' the HDTV market without proper - when any at all - Customer Support, Dealer Networks, Parts, Service, etc..

Without that backup expense, naturally their prices appear to be great - but- not so if one discovers later that they must buy another HDTV shortly !
