"Master and Commander" -WS- with Russell Crowe is incredible!!! The sound tract is in DTS as well as DD and when the ships are blasting each other the sounds will, well, lets just put it this way, "They will blow your mind!" Get this movie!

Just watched it last night. Still checking for damage where the cannonballs exploded our back wall!!! And our Cat took off to the back yard and wants to be in my wife's lap all day today fearing another attack!. This film won the Sound Editing Oscar and deserves it!.

I watched it last night too (Master and Commander) and even the DD track was stunning. My dogs were two levels above the basement and were going nuts everytime a cannon went off. Well worth the $15.99.

I must admit "Master and Commander" was truly a treat!!! The WS version looks/sounds as good as any Superbit.

Allen...it's more the sound track which is incredible...When the ships are blasting each other and it sounds like the canonballs are spashing down your living room walls!

Bombs away is right. Awesome sound demo. When I have time I'll do a DTS vs. DD comparison.

Allen...you know, I really enjoyed the entire soundtract right down to the creeking of the ship in the wee hours of the morn....truly a masterpiece in sound engineering!...

Master and Commander was awesome with those cannon ball shots. My Earthquake MKIV-15" sub rocked the house, but LFE's isn't the bottom (excuse the pun) line in a sub. Take a movie like "The Fighting Temptations." You also need your sub to be musical as well as powerful. Great soundtrack on this movie.

The sound track was awesome yet I still prefer Pearl Harbor and the attack (the explosion of the Arizona being the ultimate WOW) standing as one of the best tests of dynamic range, power and channel localization!
