LG Plasma 50PC3D - loss of HDMI

LG 50PC3D, is it normal after 2 1/2 years to have a problem with the HDMI connection on the TV
My cable is good ( been verified) signal on my HD terminal is good (been verified) When HDMI cable is plugged in, TV shows a no signal sing on screen

From the perspective of the consumer it seems any failure is not normal.

From the perspective of service centers, they're all breaking.

Yes, any TV can break at any time regardless of age. Time for service!
