HDMI or component cables

Post by skookumchuck »

Richard,
The Bose Lifestyle systems come with a device that upconverts any video signal presented to HDMI. There are three inputs for AUX, VCR, CABLE all with composite, s-video, component video, and HDMI inputs. The single output has all as well, although only one can be used.

HDMI or component cables

Post by skookumchuck »

Richard,
The Bose VS-1 has been around for a few years, at least back to 2005, it is non-HDMI. The VS-2 has been available since late 2007 and is the HDMI version. The VS-2 comes as standard equipment with the Lifestyle 35, 38 & 48 systems.

2 remotes - quit whining. I have 7. Get a Logitech 880 or 1000 universal remote - they can even turn your fireplace on and off - even dim the lighting ot control the AC unit (of course you must have IR controllable devices). You'll need ir since you are not using an AV receiver as the brain of your system. http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/remotes/&cl=us,en
