Compared with last year, the Blu-ray Disc Association’s press event was pretty much a normal CES affair. Andy Parsons laid out Blu-ray’s 2008 performance, and talked about the format’s bright future. One thing that was missing from this years event, was the complete lack of speakers from any of the Hollywood studios.  Replacing the studio heads, 3 analysts sat on a mini panel discussion that was moderated by a writer from USA Today. Nothing unexpected came out of this panel, and to be honest it felt like we were hearing a live version of a Home Media Magazine forecast.  So to spare you anymore time reading my cliffs notes, here are the pictures of the slides presented at the event.   Related posts:Blu-ray Mounts Event OffensiveWarner’s 300 Shines At High-Def 2.0’s High-Def Disc AwardsUniversal to Release on Blu-ray Disc
